Academic Levels

The academic levels at Jnana Bharathi School gives children opportunities to learn, build on and develop new skills. Children are exposed to a range of subjects and activities that allow them to experience different topics and learning styles.

Pre-Primary Education

Play Method of Teaching ( 2 Yt Yrs to 5 Yi Yrs) aims at self-learning through sensory activities to enhance the child's capabilities and skills. Providing opportunities for all - round development is our goal.

Primary School ( Grade 1 to 4 )

State syllabus is followed from Grade 1 to 2 comprising , English , Mathematics , Environmental Stud , Second Language - Kannada or Hindi and Third Language - Hindi or Kannada , Computers and Life skills.
State syllabus is followed from Grade 3 to 4 comprising , English , Mathematics , Science , Social , Second Language - Kannada or Hindi and Third Language - Hindi or Kannada , Computers and Life skills.

Middle School ( Grade 5 to 8 )

The Students study under State syllabus - English , Mathematics , Science , Social Studies , Second Language - Kannada or Hindi / Sanskrit and Third Language - Hindi or Kannada/Sanskrit and life skills and computer Science .

Secondary School ( Grade 9 to 10 )

The Students study the same subjects under State syllabus - English , Mathematics , Science , Social Studies, Second Language - Kannada / Hindi / Sanskrit and Computer Science .
All the students follow compulsory courses in Music ( Vocal ), Dance , Art & Craft, Physical Education , Yoga , Karate and Computer from Grade I .
Education is innovative and learner oriented .
Classrooms are well equipped with teaching aids ,. Participative and inter- active approach is followed in teaching . Assignments and Project work develop their independent thinking .
Outstanding research oriented library replete with latest books , is available along with our Resource center With internet facility and other required gadgets and materials.

Assessment

Our assessment is based on State Board guidelines of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation at all levels . In a year there will be 4 unit tests and 2 term examinations .
